In Assam, at least 7 persons died and 12 were injured in a road accident at Tinsukia district last night. The tragic incident occurred at Kakopathar area, when a truck hit a van. All the deceased persons were returning home from a weekly market. Police has arrested the truck driver. The injured passengers are undergoing treatment at Dibrugarh and Tinsukia districts. Some of them are in critical condition.
