Wall Street closed mixed yesterday after data showed underlying inflation remained on its slow and downward trajectory. The Nasdaq Composite index advanced 0.3 percent and the S&P 500 added 0.1 percent. On the other hand, the Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped 0.2 percent.
