Online gaming, betting, casinos, gambling, horse racing and lottery to attract 28 percent GST

Online gaming, betting, casinos, gambling, horse racing and lottery will attract twenty eight percent Goods and Service Tax (GST). In a gazette notification, by Finance Ministry the amended GST provision has come into force from today. The decision to levy 28 percent GST was taken in the 51st GST Council meeting held in New Delhi in August this year.
